International Roundtable “Human Trafficking in the Digital Age”, Vienna

Various researchers of PHIT project team will attend the International Roundtable “Human Trafficking in the Digital Age – The Interplay between “New” Technology, Trafficking and Anti-Human Trafficking” held in Vienna next 28 September.

This event, organized by the Institute for Danube and Central Europe, will explore the impact of new technologies and social media on human trafficking and on the strategies implemented to fight this global phenomenon.

A special session on project PHIT will also be held during this conference, to present the preliminary results of the project and sensitize the audience on the consequences of Human Trafficking on the victims’ mental health.
