The overall objective of PHIT is to gain knowledge to support the recovery of the victims’ well-being, personal rights and dignity. In order to achieve this goal, partners wish to:

1. Know the psychological impact of Trafficking in Human Beings for sexual exploitation on female victims

2. Identify the consequences of stakeholders’ interventions (legal advisers, health workers, immigration officers, NGO workers…) on the psychological well-being of the victims

3. Reformulate and improve state obligations framed by Directive 2004/81, 2011/36 and 2012/29 and the Warsaw Convention, based on the project results

4. Develop tools and training modules for stakeholders to disseminate best practices for victims support and assistance

5. Strengthen cooperation between NGOs and immigration services when interacting with victims
